Ethernet participants, such as PLC control systems, can
be reached with the REX 100 industrial routers,
at the router via the integrated 4-port switch. For data
transmission, our industrial router uses an encrypted
VPN tunnel on the basis of the secure OpenVPN
protocol. This variant of the REX 100 LTE (NAG) is
specially equipped with a GSM/UMTS/LTE modem for
use in North America. Note:The device are not CE
marked and must not be operated or commissioned in
the European Economic Area (EEA)! The LTE modem
used supports the use especially in North America, for
e.g. AT&T; or T-Mobile networks. The use in Verizon
networks is not possible. Before using an LTE router,
please compare the LTE frequency bands of the selected
device with the supported frequency bands of the
provider in the country of use. We will be happy to help
you with this. Please use a standard cell phone data
plan when selecting a cell phone contract. Please avoid
IoT tariffs, as these are often only designed for small
data volumes or transmission speeds.

USB devices (e.g. programming port of a drive) via the
remote maintenance tunnel (USB-over-IP). The REX 100
LTE is equipped with an LTE modem with which the
connection to the myREX 24 V2 portal is established.
