HQ TELECOM HQ-3232B Call Re Router Instructions
Model HQ-3232B
Congratulations on your purchase of HQTelecom’s Call Re-router model HQ-3232B. Please read below to
learn how to install and program your device.
Installation:
1. Unplug your telephone cable (e.g. RJ11 patch cable) from your existing telephone and plug it into the
RJ11 socket on Call Re-Router device labeled (To Line).
Note: Please make sure this telephone cable connects to your Wall Jack or Modem on the other end.
2. Plug the Call Re-Router pigtail (RJ11 male plug) into your existing telephone’s RJ11 Socket (built-in
your phone). Please refer to the diagram above for visual details.
Programming:
Follow the steps below to re-route calls from As to B:
Step 1: * * * 8888 – Wait for BEEP sound (Tip: Ignore all other sounds e.g. busy, dialtone, etc)
Step 2: * 01 * 1 * B ** – Wait for BEEP sound
Step 3: * 03 * 1 * A1 * A2 * A3 * A4 * A5 ** – Wait for BEEP sound
Step 4: * 18 * 1234567890 ** – Wait for BEEP sound
Step 5. Hangup
Where A1 – A5 and B can be any string of digits from 1 to 16 digits, including #. e.g. A = 911, B= any 10-
digit phone number. A2 – A5 are optional (not required).
Important: When the device is being programmed, certain tones will be generated. A single “BEEP” sound
means the command entered is good, but a double “BEEP” sound means the command entered is bad /
rejected.
Device Factory Reset:
To reset the Call Re-Router for factory default values (no re-routing), follow these steps:
Step 1: ***8888 Wait for “BEEP” sound, log in the system.
Step 2: *00** Wait for “BEEP” sound, hang up.
