Q. What changes will I notice to my mobile service once I install the MegaFi?
A. A data session made through MegaFi will have improved signal strength, coverage, and clarity
resulting in generally higher uplink speeds and lower transmit packet loss in challenging coverage
areas.
Connected phones with Wi-Fi turned on will experience better calls with less drops.
Q. Does the MegaFi require professional installation?
A. Professional installation is not necessary for traditional in-office or in-home use. If installing in a
vehicle or where an external antenna is needed, a professional installer is highly recommended.
AT&T and FirstNet can have your device professionally installed and a quote can be obtained from
AT&T, FirstNet, or your authorized seller.
Q. I notice I’m not getting as fast of speeds as my 5G device.
A. MegaFi is designed to provide consistent coverage and consistent speeds, not necessarily the
fastest speeds.
Q. How do I log into my device for the first time?
A. Connect a computer (mobile phone not recommended) locally to the device with an ethernet cable
or via the Wi-Fi connection:
