Installing the Motor Housing  

For Fixed Base  

For Plunge Base  

1. Place the Fixed Base on a flat surface  

with the back of the Base facing you and  

open the Motor Housing Clamp.  

1. Place the Plunge Base on a flat surface  

with the back of the Base facing you and  

open the Motor Housing Clamp.  

2. Make sure that the plunge action is in the “DOWN”  

position with the Plunge Depth Lock Lever locked.  

2. Press the Depth Adjustment Button and  

align the arrow on the Motor Housing  

with the arrow on the Fixed Base.  

3. Align the arrow on the Motor Housing  

with the arrow on the Plunge Base and  

lower the Housing into the Base.  

3. Slide the Housing down into the Fixed Base.

4. The Motor Housing will now slide up or down when  

the Depth Adjustment Button is pressed in.  

5. After all adjustments are made, close  

the Motor Housing Clamp securely.  

4. Slide the Motor Housing into the  

Plunge Base as far as it will go.  

5. Close the Motor Housing Clamp securely.  

Edge Guide Installation  

For Fixed Base  

For Plunge Base  

1. Insert the Edge Guide rods into the mounting  

slots on the Fixed Base from the left or right side.  

Adjust the Edge Guide to the desired position.  

1. Insert the Edge Guide rods into the mounting slots  

on the Plunge Base from the left or right side.  

Adjust the Edge Guide to the desired position.  

2. Secure the Edge Guide by turning the two Quick  

Release Levers toward the tool handles.  

2. Tighten the two Lock Knobs to secure  

the Edge Guide in place.
