Chapter 2 Cable Connection
Note
Only the DS-3WG507G-SI router can use an AC power cord for power input. The other router
models use a power adapter for power input.
Before connecting power to the device, make sure the device is reliably grounded. To avoid
bodily injury, connect the power cord or power adapter first to the device and then to the
power supply system in the equipment room.
Use the power adapter that comes with the device to supply power to it. Using a mismatched
power adapter could lead to damage due to issues like insufficient power.
Connect one end of the power adapter to the power port on the device, and the other end to an
external AC power outlet.
