Nighthawk WiFi 7 Tri-Band Router Model RS600
By default, flow control is enabled for all ports. A situation might occur in which you
want to disable flow control for a port. For example, for some types of voice over IP
(VoIP) phones, if you connect the VoIP phone to an Ethernet port, you might want to
disable flow control on the Ethernet port.
To enable or disable flow control for one or more Ethernet ports:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the
router network.
2. Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
A login window displays.
3. Enter the router admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified when you set
up your router. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Ethernet Settings.
The Ethernet Settings page displays.
5. In the Enable flow control section, for each Ethernet port, select or clear the check
box.
Selecting the check box for a port enables flow control for the port. Clearing the
check box for a port disables flow control for the port. By default, flow control is
enabled for all ports.
6. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
Manage Ethernet LAN port
aggregation to a LAN device
Ethernet LAN aggregation lets you aggregate two Ethernet LAN ports on your router
to improve the aggregated file transfer speed. Ethernet LAN port aggregation is also
referred to as link aggregation, teaming port, and port trunking.
To set up Ethernet LAN port aggregation to a LAN device that is configured for 802.3ad
Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), first configure Ethernet LAN port aggregation
for the LAN port 1 and LAN port 2 on your router, and then connect these ports to the
two aggregated ports on the LAN device. If you do not configure port aggregation in
this order, a network loop occurs, and your network might be shut down.
We refer to Ethernet LAN port aggregation for LAN devices as LAN port aggregation.
