Power Adapter  

Turn off the modem, and remove the  

backup battery if it has one.  

Quick Installation Guide  

AXE7800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router  

Turn on the modem and then wait about  

2 minutes for it to restart.

Connect the Hardware  

If your internet comes from an Ethernet outlet, connect the router’s WAN port to  

it, then follow step 4 and 5 to complete the hardware connection.

Connect the modem to the router’s  

WAN port via an Ethernet cable.  

Connect the power adapter to the router and turn  

on the router.  

Verify that the following LEDs stay solid on to confirm the hardware is  

connected correctly.  

Configure the Router  

1. Connect your computer to the router (Wired or Wireless)  

2. Launch a web browser, and enter http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 in the  

address bar. Create a password to get started.

Note: If the login window does not appear, please refer to FAQ > Q1.  

Turn off the Wi-Fi on your computer and connect it to the router via an Ethernet  

cable.  

Note: If the Wi-Fi LED is off, press the Wi-Fi button on the back panel for about 2 seconds until it is on.

Connect your device to the router’s Wi-Fi using the SSID (network name) and  

Wireless Password printed on the label at the bottom of the router.
