Technical Support Setup Procedure  

How to set up and install DIR-X6080Z Router  

Note: This router can be configured via the D-Link WiFi Connect app, which has an interface  

very similar to the web-based GUI  

1 Plug your D-Link DIR-X6080Z router into a power outlet.  

2 Connect the WAN (Internet) port on the router to your modem or fiber-optic ONT (Optical  

Network Terminal) using an Ethernet cable.  

3 Connect your computer, smartphone, or tablet to the router either via Wi-Fi or by using an  

Ethernet cable. Note: The default Wi-Fi password is printed on the back of the router.  

4 Open your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.). In the address bar, type  

http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter. This will open the router's login page.  

5 The default login username is "Admin," and the default password is printed on the  

router’s label. Enter the credentials and click "OK" to access the settings.  

6 On the home page, go to Internet Settings.
