Using your own router? No worries, we’ve got you covered!
Log into the gateway:
1. Connect your device to the router (preferably hardwired)
2. Open a Web Browser
4. Default Username: admin
5. Default Password: password or Admin (this may have been changed to your own)
This should then give access to the router’s user interface
(If the password is incorrect you will need to Factory Reset the router by pushing the Inset Reset button on the
back for 10 seconds)

From the Advanced menu select: Setup
From the sub-menu select: WAN Setup
WAN Preference: Must Use Ethernet WAN
This will now reboot the router
1. From the Advanced tab select Setup
2. From the sub-menu select: Internet Setup
3. Select Country: NZ
4. Select Internet Service Provider: Other
5. Enable This Interface: Ticked
6. Use VLAN ID: Ticked – 10
7. Does your internet require a login: Yes
8. Internet Service Provider: PPPoE
9. Login: ((your mercury acct number)@mercurybroadband.co.nz
10. Password: password
11. Connection Mode: Always On
12. Click: Apply (top of page)This will again reboot the router
