Regulatory  
Setup the IP5446M  
Step 6: Choose the Basicpage, click WAN Setup, to conigure your WAN settings.  
Setting up the IP5446M is simple. Power up the IP5446M with the provided  
power supply and connect the WAN port (Blue) to your modem with a standard  
Ethernet cable. By default, the IP5446M uses the pre-conigured WiFi SSID and  
password match what is shown on your WiFi Credential Card and the label.

FCC Statement  
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy  
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may  
cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no  
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If  
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television  
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on,  
the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one of the  
following measures:  
If you have iber service at home, the unit will be ready to use without any  
additional coniguration. If you have another type of Internet service, follow the  
instructions shown below to change the WAN setting to DHCP.  
If you would like to set a custom WiFi SSID and password, you can also use the  
IP5446Mlocal web page and follow the steps below.  
Setup Using Web Browser  
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.  
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.  
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to  
which the receiver is connected.  
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.  
To assure continued compliance, any changes or modiications not  
expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the  
user's authority to operate this equipment. (Example - use only shielded  
interface cables when connecting to computer or peripheral devices).

Safety  
Step 8: To change the WiFi SSID and password, select the Wireless page, click  
Basic Setup, then go to the Setup menu and change the SSID and password. When  
you are inished, click Apply to save your changes.  
This chapter provides you some safety operation warnings.  
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement  
Step 1: Make sure yourmodem is on and working properly.  
This equipment complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth  
for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and  
operated with a minimum distance of 2 centimeters between the radiator  
and your body.  
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to  
the following two conditions:  
1. Use the power supply adapter provided in the package only. Using any other

Step 7: The default Connection Type is PPPoE for Internet service over iber. For  
other type of services, select DHCP and click Apply.

cause electric shock or ire. Check the power supply wires and cables  
regularly.  
Step 4: Launch the browser and enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address box.  
Step 5:You will be prompted for a username and password. Locate the included  
IP5446M Credential Card. Use admin for the default username. The device  
speciic password can be found by scanning the QR code on the included WiFi  
Credential Card or on the IP5446M label (shown as the WPS PIN). The password  
can be changed after device setup.  
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and  
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including  
interference that may cause undesired operation.  
3. Install the equipment in a well-ventilated environment. Avoid areas with high  
temperature or direct sunlight to protect the equipment and its components  
from overheating.  
This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with  
any other antenna or transmitter.  
Country Code selection feature to be disabled for products marketed to the  
US/CANADA  
4. Do not place this equipment in a dram or moist place.  
Operation of this device is restricted to indoor use only  
5. Do not lay this equipment on an unsteady base.
