Inseego Connect with OOBM
Inseego Connect with OOBM (out-of-band management) is a remote management solution that
provides a high-speed data plane connection and secure management plane simultaneously from a
single device. The always-on connection enables IT personnel to securely troubleshoot, adjust, and
monitor any network device directly from a user-friendly terminal window within Inseego Connect.
NOTE: This feature may not be available, depending on your service provider.
Required components
You need the following to set up Inseego Connect with OOBM:

Inseego Wavemaker device (FX3100)
Inseego Connect Advanced
Ethernet cable
USB-C to console cable
Remote managed router
Getting started
To set up Inseego Connect with OOBM, follow these steps:
1. Ensure your FX3100 is well located and up and running.
2. Register your FX3100 with Inseego Connect Advanced.
3. Connect the FX3100 to managed router using:
a. Ethernet for the high-speed data link.
b. The USB-C to console cable for the remote management link.
4. From the managed router, set up remote console access and note the login credentials.
5. Identify the baud rate of the console port on the managed router.
