Text box.  

Enter a Posix-style string to define the timezone to be used by  

the unit’s time for the router of the MV-825-RTR unit.  

Example:  

• EST5EDT  

- for North American Eastern Time.  

• EST5EDT4,M3.2.0/02:00:00,M11.1.0/02:00:00  

- for the full, explicit specification of N.American Eastern  

Time. (The daylight saving time start and end dates/times  

are specified in the text string.)  

• PST8PDT  

- for Pacific time.  

• JST-9  

- for Japanese time.  

Refer to first two timezone formats specified in the Posix  

TimeZone documentation at:

Note 1: “S”and “P”buttons -   

After entering information in each text box, always   

click on the adjacent “S”button   

or press Return/Enter to locally save the new setting.  

(Note: Clicking on the “P”button will return the setting to its  

preset default value).

or press “return” to locally save the new setting.  

Note 3: When a URL is used,   

at least one DNS server IP address must be set up.  

(This allows the URL to be resolved into an IP address.)
