Click Network > Wi-Fi > ADVANCED Please check the setting Set AP Isolated (The default is set to
disable (No)) if it’s enable (Yes), If enabling this setting, this will block all traffic between devices on Wi-Fi or LAN,
the traffic is only allowed to go out to the Internet.
1. After AP isolation is set, can a wireless terminal communicate to a wired terminal?
Yes, AP isolation only restricts the communication between wireless devices, not the
communication with wired terminals.
2. After AP isolation is set, does the dual-band router allow communication between 2.4 and 5GHz?
Yes, AP isolation only affects the wireless terminals connected to the same frequency band, any
wireless terminals connected to different frequency bands can communicate with each other.
